The service
QR Reality Check provides a free browser-based QR image decoder, payload explanation, URL comparison, and static QR generator. No account or payment is required.
No safety, permanence, or print guarantee
Results are informational. The checker does not establish that a link is safe, legitimate, reachable, direct at the server layer, permanent, or suitable for a particular print process. A generated or successfully decoded code may still fail because of destination changes, permissions, devices, layout, material, lighting, damage, or other conditions.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the payloads you inspect or generate, your right to use them, and final testing before publication or printing. Do not use the service to facilitate fraud, phishing, malware, unlawful access, privacy violations, or infringement.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as available and may change, experience errors, or be discontinued. Keep original files and backups. Do not make the site your only record of a payload because the site does not store one for you.
Third-party names and links
Listed hosts and external references remain the property of their owners. A host appearing in a result means only that it matched a maintained list. QR Reality Check is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by DENSO WAVE, link-shortening services, managed QR providers, browser vendors, or device makers.
Liability boundary
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties and its operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use, inability to use, printing decisions, destination failures, or reliance on a result.
