Privacy Policy
This policy describes the current public QR Reality Check site. It is a product draft, not legal advice.
What the application does not collect
QR images, decoded payloads, comparison URLs, and generator inputs are processed in your browser memory. The application does not intentionally upload or store them. It has no account system, application database, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, cookies, or localStorage use.
How local processing works
The browser decodes a selected image into pixels and runs the QR decoder locally. Generated PNG and SVG files are also created locally. Values are discarded when you reset the tool, close the tab, or navigate away. The application does not automatically request a decoded URL.
Hosting infrastructure
Cloudflare serves the static site and may process ordinary request information such as IP address, timestamp, requested path, browser information, and security signals to deliver and protect the service. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Support email
If you email roadhogwhatever@gmail.com, your email provider and ours process the address, message, and any attachment you choose to send. Do not attach QR images or payloads containing secrets. Support messages are used to respond and maintain the service.
Children and sensitive data
The service is a general utility and is not directed to children. Avoid placing passwords, private contact details, payment credentials, health information, or other sensitive material into any QR code you plan to share.
